‘The Hello Cube’ was a digital installation that combined interactive software with a physical object in order to create a unique digital experience integrated with social media and physical interaction. It was developed as the world’s first ‘Twitterable Object,’ with visitors interacting directly with physical installation when it was showcased in the Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall and beyond. Anyone could interact from anywhere in the world via Twitter and see the results of their interaction via a twitter reply from the cube itself.
